If we're talking about musicals, it doesn't get much better than this 1969 adaptation of the hit Broadway show, which itself was loosely based on Fellini's Nights of Cabiria!

Shirley Maclaine is electric as the titular character, a taxi dancer with a sunny disposition who really and truly believes that one day love will find her.

The film also marks the debut of Bob Fosse as a film director, features Broadway veteran Chita Rivera, and is filled with Fosse's iconic choreography as well as recognizable Broadway standards like "Hey, Big Spender."

So put on your go go boots and frug on down to the theatre. We'll show you a...good time!
